RSI Perseus (2025)

The RSI Perseus is a standout spacecraft that sets a new benchmark for battleships in Star Citizen. I joined the project midway—around the final stages of the greybox phase—immediately after completing work on the Esperia Prowler utility project.

My primary responsibility was a substantial portion of the ship’s interior, while also taking ownership of roughly half of the exterior and bringing most of that section to final quality. Despite the tight schedule, the results were ultimately very satisfying.

The rear exterior featured layered, irregular forms that responded well to small refinements, allowing for noticeable improvements with relatively minimal adjustments. In contrast, the front required a much more delicate approach: its flat surfaces and subtle detail work needed to read clearly without overpowering the silhouette. Limited space between the interior and exterior also restricted the degree of major shape changes possible.

In the later stages of development, I additionally contributed several supporting tasks, including detailed work on the bridge frame, as well as building the pool table and large central table for the Mess Hall.

Overall, my focus was to ensure that every surface and detail felt cohesive and aligned with the ship’s design language. The project was a meaningful experience that allowed me to expand my skill set while contributing significantly to both the interior and exterior of the RSI Perseus.
